SBRC Survey for Teachers

After discussion with the UESF Elementary Committee, SFUSD has put together a Task Force to review and provide guidance on revisions to the TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards.  The Task Force has defined the purpose of the SFUSD K-5 SBRC as follows: to provide a concise and periodic tool for communication among teachers, families and students that includes comprehensible information about a child’s social emotional development, academic development and unique assets.  In an effort to make this tool useful to teachers and families while serving the above purpose, feedback from both groups is essential.  Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with the SBRCs.

 You may have been told at some point that you need to manage your time more wisely. However, doing so can be more difficult than it seems at first. How do you make the most out of every day? Keep reading to learn more about the art of proper time management.
 
  Create a list of all of the tasks you have for a day. Once you have the list, go through and prioritize each item on the list. If you get behind on the day, you can knock off something that is at the bottom of the list and reschedule it for another day.
 
  If you need help improving your life, you need to avoid wasting time at all costs. We all need some down time to relax and recuperate. But during the time you should be working, you need to be working and accomplishing tasks. Time wasting on phone apps, Facebook and other distractions is just unnecessary.
 
  In order to become a master of time management, you need to keep both the short- and the long-term in mind. Although it may feel more productive to concentrate on one task exclusively until it's complete, weigh that feeling against the bigger picture. If you're putting off major jobs in order to finish minor ones, you may be wasting a great deal of time!
 
  Take the time to reflect each day and consider how you've used your time. Spend it wisely. Only take the time to read emails or your voice mail when you have allowed time for that. When you allow distractions to interfere, you'll get nothing done.
 
  Say no when you need to. A lot of people are stressed just because they aren't sure how to decline when they are asked for something. When you have too many things to do on your to-do list, take a careful look at what it contains. Are there things on there that you can have others do? If you can, get your loved ones to help.
 
  Plan your day each morning. Put  https://satta11.com/  down on paper, including the time you expect each action to take. Having a schedule to meet each day helps you manage your time.
 
  Get rid of distractions. Things that distract you can cause you to pay attention to them instead of what you should be working on. If the television is on and you are watching it instead of doing what you need to do, turn it off and work on your task.
 
  Consider not wearing a watch. It sounds counterintuitive to time management, but some people are clock watchers. They get focused on the time, to the detriment of actual time management. You need to free yourself of this to really focus. In fact, you'll find that it's quite liberating and effective to just get down to work without being the slave of a clock or watch.
 
  Look into time management courses at local community colleges or within your workplace. If you have a hard time juggling your schedule, you could learn quite a bit about how to limit your stress at work. Learning how to manage your time successfully from an experienced teacher will prove to be helpful.
 
  If you're constantly in a bind for time, start cutting people off. If you let them, your neighbors, co-workers and others will eat more time off the clock than you can afford. Learn how to say no or politely excuse yourself from conversations and other unnecessary situations so that you can devote quality time to your own priorities.
 
  If you have trouble managing your time, consider keeping a diary. For three days write down everything you do to pinpoint how you are spending your time. A diary will help you understand how much time you spend doing productive things and how much time you waste on unproductive conversations, thoughts and actions.
 
  If you want to prevent anxiety from overwhelming you, make sure your time management strategy includes plenty of division. Lots of big tasks seem insurmountable at first glance. If you take the time to divide them up into smaller jobs, though, they become a lot more manageable! Fill your schedule with small, "bite-size" tasks, and soon you'll be meeting your goals again.
 
  Now that you have read this article, you should begin to understand the importance of managing your time wisely. By making the most out of every minute, you can achieve more and feel less harried. This way, you can get things done and still have enough time left over to relax.
