SBRC Survey for Teachers

After discussion with the UESF Elementary Committee, SFUSD has put together a Task Force to review and provide guidance on revisions to the TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards.  The Task Force has defined the purpose of the SFUSD K-5 SBRC as follows: to provide a concise and periodic tool for communication among teachers, families and students that includes comprehensible information about a child’s social emotional development, academic development and unique assets.  In an effort to make this tool useful to teachers and families while serving the above purpose, feedback from both groups is essential.  Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with the SBRCs.

  生徒数を安定させるために、現地の日系企業に出向いて営業活動をしたり、現地国の学校教育法に基づく「国際部」や「○○部」(○○は現地国名)を設けて現地国籍の子供や日本国籍を持たない子供を入学させる学校もある。しかし、永住組や日本人以外の子供の入学は、日本人学校の多くが現地国の学校教育法に基づいていないために卒業後に現地の高等教育校に進めないケースが多く敬遠される事が多い上に、日本語能力のばらつきや学力レベルの低下につながるとして国際部開設に反対する保護者や教員もいる。

  以高四重考班和高中家教班做個比較,從其中便可得出家教班的種種缺點,但以下是指部分補習班,而非全部。第一、學生管理。高四班的紀律要求相當嚴格,上課的態度、上下課的點名、成績單的寄發做得很確實。而家教班因為學生的地位為顧主,於是老師上課時不敢得罪學生,學生在臺下便相當隨便,學生遲到上課,仍登記出席,或點名結果從未告知家長,不然就是有學生中途便離開。因為繳費付錢的是學生,所以學生才有愛來不來的心態,補習班為了營利,只有任其作為。第二、關心學生。高四班相當關心學生,或許你會說,是因為相處時間久。可是我們想想,補習是一種教育,辦教育並不是只要傳授課程即可,而是要關心學生。家教班對學生成績的好壞從未關心或輔導,只注重上課時三、四小時,下課後學生用功與否,與聽課成效,一概不管,在在表明補習是在做一種商業行為,你付錢給我,我賣你知識。第三、環境品質。因為以上二點未做好,教學環境出現缺失,加上為節省成本,把座位空間縮至恰好一人寬度,讓教室容納最多座位,而且公共設施又常與人數不成比例。某些補習班,為增加更多利潤,改用過大教室,從最後一排看向黑板,老師與板書只有一丁點大,為補強此處,後方裝設電視,以便將老師錄影同步播放,這種行為,跟本不是在上課,而是看影片。另外更嚴重的現象,是請其它老師上課,這些老師稱為他的徒弟,這是一種「掛羊頭,賣狗肉」的行為。某位家教班老師上課的最高記錄,是在三個小時的同一時段
