SBRC Survey for Teachers

After discussion with the UESF Elementary Committee, SFUSD has put together a Task Force to review and provide guidance on revisions to the TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards.  The Task Force has defined the purpose of the SFUSD K-5 SBRC as follows: to provide a concise and periodic tool for communication among teachers, families and students that includes comprehensible information about a child’s social emotional development, academic development and unique assets.  In an effort to make this tool useful to teachers and families while serving the above purpose, feedback from both groups is essential.  Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with the SBRCs.

Web design is the procedure for creating internet sites . It encompasses a number of different facets, including webpage layout, content creation, and graphic design. While the terms web design and webdevelopment are often used interchangeably, web design is a sub set of the broader category of internet development.
Websites are created using a mark up language called HTML. Web designers build webpages using HTML tags which specify the content and meta-data of each page. The design and appearance of those elements in just a webpage have been generally characterized with CSS, or cascading style sheets. So, most sites include a blend of HTML and CSS that defines how each page will appear in a browser.
http://fastwebdesign.ro/  prefer to hand code pages (typing HTML and CSS from scratch), while some make use of a"WYSIWYG" editor including Adobe Dreamweaver. Such a editor provides a visual interface for designing the webpage layout and the software automatically generates the corresponding HTML and CSS code. Yet another popular means to design sites is with an content management system such as WordPress or even Joomla. These services deliver different site templates that may be used as a starting point for a new website. Web-masters can then add articles and customize the layout using a web-based interface.
While HTML and CSS have been utilised to design the appearance and feel of a website, graphics must be generated separately. Consequently, graphic-design can overlap with web design, since graphic designers often create pictures for use on the net.
